DCM Engineering Intern Worked with on-site Operations Supervisors to support the implementation of all warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory as well as developed detailed virtual stream maps for all three processes. Gathered data that allowed me to complete several projects such as LMS mapping, restructuring of the floor plans for upwards of 7 distribution centers, and standardization of different work operations throughout the warehouse. Gained exposure to over five of the industry-leading technologies including advanced AI services which have been directly trialed and implemented in the Penske Logistics warehousing network.Internship #2: Becton Dickinson
Supply Chain Intern Collaborated with supply chain experts to analyze and enhance the operational workflow in the Covington, GA distribution center, contributing to the optimization of processes for a billion-dollar enterprise Contributed to the Master Data Governance of the Covington Distribution Center which holds over 6.500 unique SKUs in order to optimize the organization and accuracy all of relevant information Worked with different software, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI, in order to demonstrate 40 different points of information with relevance to over 2,000 SKU’sRelevant Coursework
I have taken many courses in supply chain, process engineering, and manufacturing engineering that have ultimately led me to be the person I am today. I am extremely greatful for these experiences, and believe that it has made me into a very good candidate for any position within the supply chain and process engineering field.
